Tapered edge plasterboard

If you want to go cheap, choose tapered edge plasterboard. Tapered edge plasterboard is a more expensive option than standard flat wall construction for dry-lining because it has thinner edges than the core of the board. Scrim and joint fillers may be used in place of joint material along the lines where two edges meet, ensuring that the surface is smooth and even to be painted over while still allowing scrim and joint fillers to be applied where two edges meet.
