This is a high-performance, flexible acoustic solution engineered to significantly reduce airborne noise and structure-borne vibration. Manufactured from a dense, elastomeric material, DeadMAT combines mass and damping properties to provide exceptional sound insulation in a compact, easy-to-install format.
Ideal for use in a wide range of environments—including construction, marine, automotive, and industrial sectors—DeadMAT is designed to tackle challenging acoustic requirements where space, weight, and performance all matter. Its robust composition ensures durability, while its flexibility allows it to conform to various surfaces and shapes, making it suitable for both retrofit and new-build applications.
Whether applied to walls, floors, enclosures, or machinery casings, Siderise DeadMAT effectively reduces unwanted noise and improves acoustic comfort. It is often used in combination with other Siderise products as part of an integrated soundproofing system
The Siderise DeadMAT Sound Barrier Mat offers a stand-alone sound insulation performance of 25dB RW. Its high mineral salt content not only enhances its acoustic properties but also provides natural flame retardancy, making it self-extinguishing to FMVSS302 standards.
The Siderise DeadMAT Sound Barrier Mat is suitable for a wide range of applications in the building construction industry. It is ideal for use in high-performance wall and partition constructions, overlays to timber intermediate floors, and cladding to external ducts and pipes. Additionally, it can be used as a noise curtain or in combination with other soundproofing materials to enhance acoustic performance.
Installation of the Siderise DeadMAT Sound Barrier Mat is straightforward due to its flexible and easy-to-cut design. The mat can be easily applied to various surfaces, ensuring a snug fit and optimal soundproofing performance. Its low thickness ensures minimal impact on the overall construction width, making it a convenient choice for both new builds and retrofits.
