It is available in various thicknesses (100mm, 75mm, 50mm, 25mm) to suit different applications.
Manufactured using renewable energy and sustainable raw materials, SB-Slab provides excellent acoustic performance and is recommended for use as part of a sound insulating system for separating floors, ceilings, or walls.
It is made of high-density mineral fiber produced from non-combustible inorganic rock, classified as "mineral wool" according to Bs 3533. The slab fully complies with the recommendations of Bs 5422 and Bs 3958: Part 5.
In addition to its acoustic properties, SB Acoustic Sound Slab is durable and does not encourage the growth of fungi, mold, or bacteria. It is also resistant to vermin, rot, and moisture.
With its non-combustible fire performance, the slab achieves a Class 1 spread of Flame to Bs 476: Part 7 and the required indices of performance of fire propagation to Bs 476: Part 6.
