The Hush 5 kg/m² Barrier Mat Rubber Underlay is a vinyl sound barrier mat that contains naturally occurring minerals. It is specifically designed to enhance sound insulation for existing panels made of various materials such as metal, wood, and plastic, across all frequencies. The mat is typically installed in direct contact with the original panel. Hush barriers are particularly effective in reducing coincidence dip resonance in stiff lightweight composites like plywood sheets and hollow core panels.
