Lightweight Dry Screed Solution for Residential Applications
The Fermacell® 2E11 flooring element is a lightweight and highly durable dry screed flooring panel designed for underfloor heating and domestic applications. It consists of two 10 mm gypsum fibreboards, bonded to form a 20 mm thick flooring solution. The thinner profile makes it a perfect option for renovations or areas where floor height must be kept minimal. It offers excellent load-bearing capacity, ensuring durability while providing thermal insulation benefits.
Eliminating the need for wet trades completely and able to be worked on within 24 hours!
The fermacell™ dry levelling compound can be used for levelling uneven floors in both new build and refurbishment projects. It is a special dried, mineral aerated granulate.
This innovative material has unique physical properties to make the granules extremely versatile. Critically, once laid, the angular and irregular shapes of the grain provide a self-locking mechanism, which provides excellent stability.
Using a dry self levelling system allows for a super-fast installation, with floors ready to work on within 24 hours. The overall flooring system is extremely light-weight when compared to wet alternatives, reducing additional structural loading to the building.

FAQ
How do I achieve part E using fermacell flooring boards?
fermacell has a number of simple solutions based on fermacell acoustic flooring, insulation and ceiling details. Please see our "Flooring systems" guide for more details.
Why use fermacell board with underfloor heating?
fermacell offers a dry overlay screed system which is thinner than conventional screed. This means it also reacts faster thus giving you the head on demand rather than having to plan your heating in advance.
How do I level an uneven floor?
fermacell has three solutions depending on the height in flooring. From 0 to 20 mm, use fermacell self-levelling compound, from 10 to 60 (100) mm use fermacell dry levelling compound and for 30 to 2000 mm, we advise using fermacell bonded levelling compound. Each is simple and easy to use.
Why use fermacell flooring as an alternative to wet screed?
Because it is dry, quick to lay, thinner and will save you money and time.
