Supaloft is the latest product from the makers of Thermafleece, and it provides a safe and environmentally friendly way to insulate loft spaces. The warmth and comfort provided by polyester fibers, which are widely used to fill jackets, duvets, and pillows, are well known to most of us. Eden Renewable Innovations has now taken this technology and applied it to the production of long-lasting and safe loft insulation made from recycled polyester fibers.
The 2016 format is simple to install, itch-free, and a cost-effective alternative to glass or other mineral insulation. Supaloft contains recycled polyester and is almost entirely made from recycled plastic bottles, with a recycled content of more than 95%. Crimped polyester fibers provide loft and durability, ensuring that the insulation will last the life of the building in which it is installed.
What are the uses of Supaloft?
Supaloft is odorless, soft to the touch, and contains no harmful chemicals or binders. It is also simple to install. Supaloft can be installed between or over joists, or it can simply be laid on top of existing insulation to improve overall insulation performance. This new insulation can also be used beneath floors or behind walls to provide sound insulation throughout the structure.
