Tecsound 100 is the highest performing acoustic membrane we know of. It is non-adhesive, flexible and improves both impact and airborne passage of sound.
The Tecsound 100 Non-Adhesive Membrane is a highly effective and versatile acoustic insulation solution. This flexible membrane is designed to improve both impact and airborne sound transmission in various construction elements. Made from a high-density polymer-based material, it provides excellent soundproofing properties. Additionally, it is fire-resistant and self-extinguishing, ensuring safety in any application.
Product Application
Tecsound 100 can be used on walls and floors. It can be used to make up high-performance walls and is often used in combination with acoustic mineral wool, acoustic plasterboards and can be used with resilient bars.
On the floor it can be very effectively combined with our SBx Board range and mineral wool to provide an excellent airborne and impact sound barrier to protect from noise from below. We also recommend the use of Tecsound 100 mass loaded vinyl on the floors which has a density of 10kg/m2 for even more robust performance characteristics.
On the ceilings we recommend the use of the self adhesive Tecsound 50 to make application more straight forward.
Using an Under Floor Heating System?
You will need to ensure that all the soundproofing products are suitable for use with your specific system as performance differs between them. The Tecsound Acoustic Membrane has a thermal conductivity figure of 0.45 W/mK, please check it’s ok for use with your specific Under Floor Heating system before proceeding.

The Tecsound 100 Non-Adhesive Membrane offers exceptional performance in soundproofing applications. With its high-density composition, it provides excellent acoustic insulation, comparable to lead of the same weight. A single layer of Tecsound 100 has an Rw figure of over 32dB, making it highly effective in reducing both impact and airborne sound transmission. Its unique chemical composition also provides exceptional damping qualities, allowing it to compare favorably to products like green glue, providing both resilience and high mass.

Installation
The Tecsound 100 Non-Adhesive Membrane is easy to install. Simply apply the membrane with the reinforcing scrim facing towards the surface you are soundproofing. For floor applications, it is recommended to combine Tecsound 100 with a density of 10kg/m2 for optimal performance. For ceiling applications, the self-adhesive Tecsound 50 is recommended for easier installation.

Orders must be placed by 1:00 PM Monday to Thursday to be eligible for next-day dispatch (where applicable). Orders placed after 1:00 PM on Fridays will be processed the following Monday. All products have the availability days marked, so use this as a guide.

We offer this service to alleviate confusion for you and reduce communication for us all. It gives us an idea on when you would like the order to be delivered.
It is NOT a garaunteed delivery date. Picking next day WILL NOT get you next day - unless you pay for it.
We understand scheduling of larger materials to your project is important, thus having your preference is very helpful for us. Please note this works in tandem with the availability of the product. We can NOT fulfill any orders before the avability days set on the product, even if the date insert tool allows it.
There may be situations where if specified a preference date is given, we may not always be able to deliver on that date. We WILL do our best to comunicate accurate delivery times via email after the order is placed, so no need to worry.
After you specified a date we will do our best to deliver on that date, you will be notified within 24-48 hours if we can not fill that day but will strive to get a slot as close as possible to that date. We do not deliver on weekends, so all orders specified with weekend delivery will be shifted to the week after.
ON THE DAY & PRODUCT EQUIVALENTS
If you need to reschedule your delivery, let us know as soon as possible. You’ll be notified of any changes via email or phone. We can not change delivery dates if you leave it within 24 hours of confirmed booked date.
Someone must be on-site to sign for and assist with unloading materials. All deliveries are kerbside only. Upon delivery:
- Inspect goods before signing.

Important: Signing a delivery as “unchecked” means the goods are accepted in good condition.
Responsibility for goods transfers to you upon delivery. We reserve the right to charge a failed delivery fee if access is restricted for the vehicle specified on the order, Redelivery charges are £50 ex vat. Collection charges are £50 ex vat
Every transaction is recorded, and the delivery fees are determined on whether or not the recipient is ready to receive the package. This covers manual or automated offloading of heavy items. Offloading equipment, such as a tail lift or forklift, may be requested; however, there may be an additional fee if the site is difficult to access or we have a parking / access restrictions or the products are of considerable size..
We may be forced to offer an equivalent high-quality substitute product at no extra cost to our customer from time to time give the UK market conditions and stock supply in your area. They will be like for like and be chose by you with the liability on person orders if chosen on the option to accept yes is marked.

Our suppliers reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery, if you have not informed either us or the supplier of any access restrictions at either the time of placing the order or 24 hours before the delivery.
